Lars-Erik Jörgen
Persson or simply Jörgen Persson was born on April 22, 1966 in Halmstad,
Sweden. Two of his memorable finals where
he faced his teammate Jan-Ove Waldner in the World Table Tennis Championships
in 1989 and 1991.
Jörgen has
represented Sweden in every Olympic Games since the table tennis was entered
into Olympic program. Sided by side with
Croatian Zoran Primorac and Belgium’s pride Jean-Michel Saive.
The 6'1" Swedish legend’s game is based on a
powerful swatting backhand stroke and a classic forehand. One of his best games was on the 2000 Olympics
where he ended fourth place and 2008 Summer Olympics.
Also one of the best performances
